How the site is designed
- Main journeys are designed to work with a keyboard and show visible focus.
- Pages are designed to reflow for magnified text and narrow screens.
- Search controls, links, headings, landmarks and data tables use clear labels.
- A skip link is provided to take you directly to the main content.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for less motion.
- Long organisation names and record references are allowed to wrap.
Tables and detailed records
Wide data tables use a labelled horizontal scroll area on narrow screens so their columns remain connected. Details such as organisation identifiers and value notes sit inside expandable sections to keep each page easy to scan.
Accessibility standard
Bidwake aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. The current checks do not amount to an independent audit of every success criterion, so Bidwake does not claim full conformance. The standard is published in the WCAG 2.2 Recommendation.
How Bidwake maintains accessibility
Pages use semantic HTML, visible keyboard focus, generous touch targets and responsive layouts. The recorded checks cover keyboard use, native 200% browser zoom, reduced motion and the browser accessibility tree. For this release, the Founder accepted a protected browser, keyboard and screen-reader-oriented simulation after reviewing its detailed results. No physical NVDA or Narrator session ran, and the simulation is not described as a human assistive-technology test. No blocking barrier was found in the tested journeys. This evidence supports release acceptance; it is not an accessibility certification or an independent audit.
