Bidwake stores copies of published procurement releases. These can contain organisation names, sole-trader names, professional contact details and notice text. The public site shows selected contract fields; access to the underlying source files is restricted.
Bidwake does not use these records to make automated decisions about people or to build advertising profiles.
Where the information comes from
Contract information comes from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder. Technical request information comes from your browser, device and network when you visit Bidwake. If you request an alert, the email address and saved search come directly from you.
An official notice may name a sole trader or public professional contact. The Open Government Licence does not itself cover personal data, so Bidwake applies its own documented lawful-basis and transparency assessments to that information.
Search terms and server logs
Your search forms part of the page address so you can bookmark or share the results. It may therefore appear in short-lived server and security logs. Bidwake does not retain search terms as account data or use them for advertising.
Who receives the information
Bidwake uses Vercel Inc. for website hosting and Neon Inc. for database services. Correspondence is handled through Resend for requested factual alerts; Namecheap for correspondence. The service is hosted in Vercel Washington, D.C., United States; Neon London, United Kingdom. These providers process information only to supply and protect the service. Bidwake does not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
International transfers
Vercel, Neon, Namecheap and Google may process information internationally under their contractual UK transfer safeguards.
How long information is kept
Technical request logs are normally retained for 1 days.
Security incident records are reviewed for deletion 24 months after closure.
Enquiry correspondence is normally retained for 365 days.
Official source releases and derived records are reviewed annually and retained only while needed for public procurement research and source traceability.
An unconfirmed alert link expires after 48 hours. The pending request is deleted within seven days after expiry. A confirmed alert is kept until you stop it or ask for deletion; its prepared email body is removed after delivery. If you stop an alert, any queued body is removed before another send. The minimum email, tracker and suppression record is then kept only as needed to honour your choice and show that Bidwake did not continue sending.
Accounts, email, analytics and cookies
Bidwake does not currently offer account sign-in. Public search and requested factual alerts remain available without an account.
A notice alert still starts only after you use its separate 48-hour confirmation link, and every alert includes a direct way to stop future messages. Bidwake does not send marketing email.
Bidwake does not currently set account cookies or account browser storage. Bidwake does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Read the cookies page for more detail.
Whether you must provide information
You do not have to provide personal information to browse Bidwake. If you email us, we need your address and message to reply; if you do not provide them, we cannot answer the enquiry. If you request an alert, we need your email address and saved search to send it; you can stop the alert at any time.
Your information rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, and to object where Bidwake relies on legitimate interests. Some rights are subject to legal conditions. We may ask for enough information to confirm your identity and locate the relevant record. Send a request to contact@bidwake.com.
If the information came from an official notice, Bidwake may also direct you to the publishing authority. Correcting Bidwake’s copy does not change the official notice. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you remain dissatisfied.
Changes to this notice
Bidwake will update this page before using information for a new purpose. The methodology explains how public records are prepared for the service.
