Who provides Bidwake
Bidwake provides this independent public-contract research service. Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@bidwake.com.
What Bidwake provides
Bidwake is a free research service. You can search selected public buyers, suppliers, award records and markets, and browse contracts by the end date published in a notice. Bidwake links to the official notice when it can verify the source link.
Bidwake does not provide procurement, legal or financial advice. The service helps you find and compare published records; it does not replace checking the official notice or taking advice for a particular decision.
Published records and Bidwake summaries
Find a Tender and Contracts Finder publish the source records. Bidwake groups buyers, suppliers, markets, values and published end dates from those records. The methodology explains how the figures are prepared.
The official notice remains the source record. A published value may describe an award, a lot or a framework ceiling, and a published end date may later change.
Accounts and saved alerts
Bidwake does not currently offer account sign-in. A new alert starts only after you use its separate 48-hour confirmation link, and you can stop it from the direct Stop link in an alert email. Public search remains available without an account.
How you may use Bidwake
You may use Bidwake for lawful research. Do not bypass security controls, disrupt or overload the service, introduce malicious code, misrepresent Bidwake as a government service, or use it to harass or unlawfully profile a person.
Automated access must be proportionate, respect technical limits and stop if requested. Bidwake may restrict traffic that threatens the service or other users’ access.
Source licences
Contract notice data comes from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder and is reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0 where the original information provider has made it available under that licence. The licence does not cover personal data, logos or third-party rights.
Bidwake content
Except for source data and third-party material, Bidwake’s original software, design, branding and editorial text are protected by intellectual property law and belong to the operator or its licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.
Links to other websites
Links to Find a Tender, Contracts Finder and other websites open services controlled by their own operators. Their content, availability, privacy practices and terms are separate from Bidwake. Bidwake is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government.
Changes, corrections and availability
Bidwake may update, correct or remove pages as source data changes, and may pause or restrict the service for maintenance, security or operational reasons. Corrections to an official notice are made by the authority that published it.
Source records may contain omissions or errors. Bidwake uses reasonable care in operating the service and explaining how records are prepared, but does not promise complete coverage or uninterrupted availability.
Responsibility
Bidwake is provided free of charge. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by an error in an official notice or an event outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumer statutory rights are not affected.
For business use, and only to the extent permitted by law, Bidwake is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings or goodwill.
Law and disputes
These terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and court rights available where they live. Business users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced
If a court decides that one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining parts will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not give up that right.
Changes to these terms
Bidwake may update these terms when the service or the law changes. A new version and effective date will be published here, and changes will apply from that date rather than retrospectively.
