e9fa47af-bcda-4001-93b0-01698172eecb-896637Active Travel England (ATE) is the government's executive agency responsible for making walking, wheeling and cycling the preferred choice for everyone to get around in England. ATE is an executive agency, sponsored by the Department for Transport. Since it was established, ATE has used videography ad-hoc to bring to life our vision, what we are delivering and what it means to peoples' daily lives. It has become evident that the videos will continue to be a tool we use to tell stories and that we'd also like to create videos for local authorities to use for community engagement and consultation. The videos help to bring to life complex technical information and to tell the stories of the people that are being enabled to get around by walking, wheeling and cycling. In reference to the 'Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, the video will help to support the many wider social, economic and environmental benefits for active travel. The contract award is for a series of videos on a range of active travel topics to be produced from inception / concept to delivery of the finished product.
