This is alongside highlighting the range of high quality golf courses along England's Golf Coast. The purpose of a major architectural installation is to support a number of strategic aims which include growing the value of the visitor economy in Sefton; enhancing the reputation and visibility of Sefton/Southport to a national and international audience and building on Sefton's reputation to host major national and international events. Specification • One bespoke iconic Installation to be located in Southport Town Centre • The installation must utilise an existing building as a either a backdrop or integrate into final piece • The installation must be of a scale to create worldwide media value • It is essential that there is a golf theme which will appeal to both enthusiasts and the general public • The installation must be in place for the weekend of 15th July and remain in place for the summer season.
