The project will increase and retain footfall and become a unique multifunctional events space that encourage people to gather. Brief description of the work, the nature of the works, key components, and any significant constraints: - Take the design for the scheme from the current concept through to detailed design. - Replacement paving of the area, ensuring that quality and local characteristics are upheld - Relocation of War Memorial - Inclusion of soft landscaping and new lighting - Part of the works take place in the pedestrianised area in the city centre - This project requires direct liaison with adjacent commercial properties - Works must be completed by 30 April 2024; this is a requirement of the external funding partner, interested suppliers must provide confirmation that they can adequately resource the works to complete prior to this date.
