81a3e38e-b1b4-4b32-932a-65d60528f54f-791525One off piece of work to develop and refine the proposed skeleton maturity assessment framework as identified in the Abolishing Modern Slavery in Defra group report. The key objective of the work will be to produce a toolkit that features: • A simple, standalone maturity assessment tool (based on the initial skeleton framework proposed in the report produced in 2024) that enables Defra group organisations to evaluate their modern slavery risk management capabilities, aligned with best practice outlined in BS25700:2022 Organisational Responses to Modern Slavery and PPN 02/23: Tackling Modern Slavery in Government Supply Chains. This tool will: o Assess current maturity levels across key aspects of modern slavery risk management. o Identify capability gaps o Highlight specific actions to improve maturity It will enable organisations to systematically evaluate and enhance their approach to managing modern slavery risks.
