IPS (Individual Placement and Support) supports people with severe mental health difficulties into employment. It involves intensive, individual support, a rapid job search followed by placement in paid employment, and time-unlimited in-work support for both the employee and the employer. The five stages of the IPS process are: outreach and engagement, building vocational profiles, employment action plans, employer engagement, and developing follow-along support. IPS is an evidence-based approach that places people accessing mental health services into long-term employment. We are interested in all levels of IPS training.
