Additional information: Exeter City Council is proposing to enter into a 3 year contract for a professional firm to provide the required Right to Buy Housing Valuations. Exeter City Council has approximately 5,000 properties within its Social Housing Portfolio. When a Tenant applies for the right to buy their own home, the Council as Landlord, is required to carry out a valuation within a set time table. There have been approximately 30 RTB applications over the last 6 month period. The Council cannot guarantee the quantity of valuations that will be required nor that each and every valuation will be allocated on this contract. The Valuer must either be a member the National Association of Estate Agents or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
