The building is to be refurbished throughout delivering a high quality building for the provision of training classrooms, workshops for practical training, administrative offices and additional office space for management. The design is due to be issued at RIBA Stage 3 with the main contractor developing the scheme from RIBA Stage 4 to 6. The all-inclusive project budget including professional fees, enabling works, FF&E and VAT is circa £2.5million gross. The current design provides a GIA circa 890m2. The ECMS building is due to open in June 2017.
