b478771f-fe0a-4d28-88f1-d99291a0bda4-143936The 3SST2015 is a strategically important programme for STFC RAL Space and UK (via UK Space Agency and UK Ministry of Defence) with key milestones which must be met if UK is to achieve its objectives and deliver its commitments in this international programme. The 3SST2015 is part of the SST-Framework which will continue until 2020 when it will be succeeded by the SST-Programme. The UK Government (with the UK Space Agency [UKSA] leading) is coordinating UK's activities to meet the SST Consortium objective. The aim of this tender is to contribute to the EU SST WPs 4-6 in order to enable STFC ( a sub-contractor to UKSA, the UK Beneficiary to the H2020 grant which makes STFC a Third Party subcontractor in the EU's H2020 framework) to fulfil their commitments to UKSA. This tender comprises of specific work requirements within the Space Situational Awareness (SSA) area in order to deliver the deliverables identified within the 3SST2015 project. It concerns the technical Work Packages only - WP5, WP6. The work is mostly concerned with the Work Package 5, UKSA is leading Work Package 5 at the EU level while STFC is leading Work Package 6 at the EU level. STFC is providing support to Work Package 4 UK lead. The delivery of the requirements specified will enable STFC to fulfil its commitments for Work Packages 4, 5 and 6. The work relating to WP4 is limited to liaising with the WP4 Leader with respect to the interfaces and technical tasks co-ordination between WP4, WP5 and WP6. Please ensure all communication is made using the following process. As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements. If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link 'Register for CCS eSourcing'. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing Expressionofinterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk Your email must clearly state: the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered Bidder; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email. Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done. The Sourcing documents can then be accessed on the eSourcing Suite at: https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk using the instructions detailed in the Specification documents within Contracts Finder. As a user of the e-Sourcing Suite you will have access to Emptoris email messaging service which facilitates all messages sent to you and from you in relation to any specific RFX event. Please note it is your responsibility to access these emails on a regular basis to ensure you have sight of all relevant information.
