eecfcb79-7839-4bbd-a685-1dee79927370-206565STFC Daresbury Laboratory is seeking to purchase five low level RF systems (LLRF) for the CLARA (Compact Linear Accelerator for Research and Applications) accelerator being built at Daresbury Laboratory. The CLARA RF system consists of a number of megawatt pulsed RF systems operating at 2998.5MHz driving normal conducting, travelling wave copper cavities. For each cavity system a low level RF controller is required to maintain the phase and amplitude of the RF field so that acceleration can be performed. Critical to this application is the desire that the LLRF system produces a very low noise output to maximise the physics the machine can perform. Additional information: This sourcing activity is being carried out via our E-Sourcing Portal - Emptoris.
