1a3b444e-7278-4ef9-bef6-5d86e8fcfe3a-87075Ipswich Borough Council are upgrading our Elm street address to install a new temporary car park and associated works on site of former Ipswich Police Station building. The project includes the following elements: - Permeable tarmac surfacing to car park laid to specified levels - Drainage works - Entrance widening - Perimeter treatment including mixture of concrete kerbs, low-level post and rail fencing, timber sleepers and re-used timber hoarding - Metal fencing / guarding within the site - Sundry repairs to existing brickwork boundary walls - Car park and walkway lighting including columns, wall mounted fittings and bollards - Soft landscaping Due to the sensitive nature of the site with respect to possible archaeological deposits, there is a requirement for these works NOT to include ‘breaking ground’. Unless identified on drawings the contractor shall therefore adhere to this requirement.
