6b9f135e-2df6-46e3-bca7-88b5be21f0b5-165477The overall objectives of the project are: Provide communications support to ensure completion and publication of Water 2020 draft methodology consultation Provide communications support to ensure completion and publication of Water 2020 final methodology consultation Provide communications support for ad hoc documents as required. Scope of Work The Contract shall operate on the basis of a call off with the Supplier being given project work as directed by the Ofwat project manager. Call-off of work in relation to Water 2020 methodology consultation documents. The first piece of work to be commissioned under the call-off is for communications support to ensure completion and publication of Water 2020 methodology consultation documents. The work shall be project based as commissioned by the Customer's Project Manager. The Supplier shall be given at least two working days' notice of the start of each project work unless agreed otherwise between the parties. This is a guide only and there may be occasions where less notice is given particularly where the project work is ad hoc (i.e. not identified as a specific project within this document). Where the work relates to Water 2020 draft methodology consultation and final methodology consultation then the Supplier shall operate on the basis of the information given in this document as notice. The scope of the project includes: Collaborating with project manager and programme team to define scope of communications support required (as set out below). Agreeing production timetable. Providing copy, stylistic and developmental editing of Ofwat publications. This can include but is not restricted to correcting errors such as misspellings, typographical errors, miss-numbering or mislabelling, word usage, punctuation, identifying deviations, checking for conformity and consistency, and rewriting and restructuring text. Using technical expertise and a wide range of composing and editing tools as required. Working to Ofwat templates and guidelines. Our corporate visual identity guide (attached at Appendix B) outlines our visual style and approach. The contract period is estimated to be 2 June 2017 - 31 March 2018. The timescale for all project work (specified and ad hoc) is to be agreed between the parties. Outside the scope or the project: Document publication to website Sending documents to project stakeholders Key Tasks In order to achieve the overall objectives, the Customer expects that the following key tasks will be carried out by the Supplier: Provide communications support as set out in 2.2 above on the draft methodology consultation document (approximately 300 page technical document). Provide communications support as set out in 2.2 above on the final methodology consultation document. Provide communications support on various ad hoc documents as required throughout 2017 - 2018. Additional information: Please note that this is a call-off contract so it is difficult to quantify exact spend.
