f4a98f28-b9c9-4b47-bb5b-5b964f2a9c08-218336The Council wishes to appoint an experienced contractor(s) to undertake this project in order to reduce the energy consumed and improve the resilience of the Moorside data centre facility. The four primary areas that are being procured are as follows: - Electrical works including but not limited to Switchboards / Power / Lighting / UPS - Removal and disposal of four legacy Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units and the supply and installation of five new CRAC units incorporating Free Air Cooling - Installation of Cold Aisle Containment and services - Building Environment works Additional information: As part of the tender process, Sunderland City Council intends to hold a Supplier Briefing Session on 28.03.18 at 9:30am, with a Site Visit of Moorside at 10:30am. Further details regarding the Supplier Briefing Session and Site Visit are included in the ITT Instructions document, you must confirm your intention to attend direct to virginia.ainsley@sunderland.gov.uk. The aim of the Supplier Briefing Session is to provide advice on submitting an acceptable bid, there will also be opportunity to ask questions.
