The code is based on International Financial Reporting Standards and is updated annually to reflect developments in accounting reporting. The service must be undertaken by suitably qualified personnel who will undertake the valuations in line with professional guidance contained within the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Red Book.
