9be848dc-4648-4420-b3e7-fe3e77f26d99-852014Durham County Council require the use of a purpose made AI tool for social workers to be utilised within AHS & CYPS to automate documentation using natural language processing and machine learning. This specific tool will record audio, transcribe the audio and produce a specialist summary based on a template designed to support Durham County Council's requirements. The system will be user friendly and simple to use for Social Workers with a varying technical skills and comfort. The system is a fully secure web based system that will not need any specialist software and can be used by any of the Council's devices such as Smart Phone, Laptops, Tablet and Hybrid Machines. Therefore a direct award via the G-Cloud 14 framework has been conducted following Beam Up being identified as the sole provider of this system in a search, this will also retain continuity with the current standard tool being used by Social Workers in England.
