c16f4aaf-edb5-4664-80de-0562579c6385-236230The BFI is seeking a new business partner to develop and manage its book publishing operation. As the BFI is approaching the end of its current publishing contract it is undertaking a tender process to invite submissions from potential publishing partners. The intention is to find a partner who is best placed to support the ambitions and priorities of the BFI. A partner who can on the one hand maintain the reputation that has been established during the lifetime of BFI Books and, on the other, develop our book publishing in new directions as well as open up new opportunities in digital publishing. The BFI 2022 strategy provides an essential framework for our ambitions and BFI Publishing should deliver against our commitments to future learning by engaging young, diverse and engaged future audiences. Our Publishing should also enrich the BFI's Cultural Programme with greater publishing tie-ins to major projects and new initiatives that stem from our collections and digitisation strategies.
