37760faa-607c-4d53-8075-c721fc6db1da-155895Border Force (BF) is a directorate of the Home Office. BF has a requirement for a National Contractor to assist its officers in examining Commercial Freight vehicles and Passenger vehicles including coaches and private and light goods vehicles (wheels and tyres only). The contractor will have access to a network of technicians with the skills, knowledge and equipment to deal with a wide range of vehicle makes and models. This contract will commence on 1st April 2017 following a sourcing exercise based on written quotation. The purpose of this document is to make the Statement of Requirements and the Home Office Terms and Conditions available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the Statement of requirements by providing brief details of their Company and how they expect to meet the requirements along with a quotation and acceptance of the Home Office terms and Conditions which will apply to this Contract. Potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Janine Melia, Home office Commercial: Janine.Melia@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity and providing details of their company, demonstrating the ability to meet the Statement of requirements and in addition, a full breakdown of costs. Emails should be submitted by 5pm on Monday 27 February 2017.
