30114cb8-6b3f-4380-a698-f990f1a6b8ee-90014The Council has awarded the contract for the provision of an Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service (IHCAS), Locally branded as Wolverhampton Health Advocacy Services (WHACS) to support people from all client groups who wish to make a complaint about health service(s) and also Healthwatch Wolverhampton (HWW) to operate as an independent consumer champion, to gather and represent the views of the public in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of local care service. These two service elements were advertised as seperate lots - Lot 1 - Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service (IHCAS), Locally Branded as Wolverhampton Health Advocacy Services (WHACS) Lot 2 - HealthWatch Wolverhampton (HWW) The service shall commence for a period of 3 years from 1st April 2016 with an option to extend by up to a further 24 months thereafter.
