9bdfc205-fc96-45c3-b553-8fffd20fdef3-114811Repairs to concrete bridge - Buchan Ness Lighthouse The proposed works will comprise of civil maintenance repair works to the concrete bridge and the application of decorative / protective coatings to the ferrous metal railings. More specifically, the main items of work are as follows: •Establish welfare facilities. •Set up site. •Carry out repairs to concrete bridge Deck •Carry out repairs to concrete abutment. •Repairs to surface joints. •Repairs to abutment joints. •Prepare and redecorate parapet railings. •Clear site. A site visit is planned for Tuesday 23 August 2016. All Tenderers attending the site visit should contact Ruth Millan, Procurement Administrator, email to: Procurement@nlb.org.uk to confirm attendance, numbers, the names of the representatives intending to visit site and a mobile contact numbers. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
