b5b4de50-82a4-4cc0-bf5e-c69f6d3dc589-186243This requirement is for Waste Management within the Growth, Environment and Transport Directorate. Tenders are invited from suitable qualified and experienced providers who are interested in tendering for the following service: Paper and Card Recycling from West Kent HWRCs. 6 HWRC sites (Dartford, Maidstone, Pepperhill, Sevenoaks, Swanley and Tunbridge Wells) accept mixed paper and card from the public. This material will then be transported (using existing haulage arrangements) and delivered to the Provider's facility for processing, with due regard for the Waste Hierachy. The paper and card is usually delivered in either articulated lorries or 40 yard Roll on Roll Off (RoRo) bins. Once delivered, the Provider can obtain Income from the Paper and Card and any costs incurred will be covered by the income made. This tender is, therefore, for Income only. Tenderers are invited to bid an income amount payable to the Authority for every tonne of Paper and Card delivered.
