Springfield Road can only be accessed by vehicles from the junction with the A4020 Uxbridge Road, with movements by all modes of travel from the south and east restricted by the Grand Union Canal and Yeading Brook. The London Borough of Hillingdon ('The Council') is seeking to appoint consultants to assess activity in the area and come forward with a shortlist of options to balance the needs of all users of the road, improving how the road operates for all.
