79ef8230-811d-4dfd-a51e-2044af17c2c1-186329The aim of this contract is to provide additional orthopaedic activity at Musgrove Park Hospital, Parkfield Drive, Taunton, TA1 5DA during times of unused theatre capacity. The expected outcomes - There will be demonstrable reduction in waiting times for patients awaiting Joint surgery. These patients will be on the Authority's waiting list, and have had their pre-op assessment and been declared as fit for surgery. - The Service will provide surgery and post-operative recovery. Patients will have the pre-op, in-patient and follow-up components of their hospital stay under the care of the Authority. There will be a demonstrable repatriation of surgical episodes from external Independent Providers
