a382241a-6868-4c56-b45d-0cba7235cf25-126423You are invited to express your interest in the provision of Architect Services for Pedro Street as part of the London Borough of Hackney's Housing Redevelopment Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for firms to design housing for a 0.07 Ha site in Lower Clapton in Hackney presently occupied by a disused boiler house for the Clapton Park Estate. The draft documents for the Brief and ITT are provided at this time to enable firms to consider fully their interest in this work. The proposed contract is GC/Works/5 (1998) General Conditions for the Appointment of a Consultant (with LB of Hackney amendments). This tender will be administered via an e-procurement system called ProContract. Suppliers must be registered on the system in order to access the documentation and submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. To register as a supplier on ProContract please visit the London's Tenders Portal at https://www.londontenders.org/ click on the ‘Suppliers’ Area' link to the left. On the right hand side you will see a green ‘register’ icon, click on this and begin the supplier registration process. Please ensure when registering that you select all the appropriate categories which describe your business/service area as notifications of tender opportunities are directed via these categories. We recognise that this is a low- value contract which would normally be completed in one-stage, however, that would require many firms to produce a concept design, describe their architectural approach to the design, external space, landscaping, and consultation and establishing a full design team. We felt that would be unfair to many firms and so have opted for a two-stage process. Additional information: There is a concurrent Notice for an Architect for Mandeville Street Redevelopment Project The advert placed on Friday 2nd September 2016 included an estimated fee. Bidders are advised of a change to this information. The design team service cost range is from £60k lowest to £130k highest. Please take note the Council expects competitive bids for the design service and these figures are indicative only.
