6d4e470a-a972-4953-9e6b-591ed2d74b71-855643The Council of the Borough of Kirklees is seeking to establish a programme for the delivery of tutor-led, non-accredited, community-based numeracy/mathematics courses. The Bitesize model offers funding of up to £10,000, with delivery expected over a two-year period, providing flexibility and sustainability. We expect courses to be a minimum of 15 guided learning hours (GLH), though longer courses are welcome. All pilot activity should have numeracy embedded-either as a core focus or integrated into the wider learning outcomes-to support the development of essential maths skills in real-life contexts. This procurement exercise for Count Me In (the "Services") is being conducted as a General Further Competition ("Further Competition") under the Electronic Market Place (EMP) Ref: KMCAS-164; Provision of Adult Education, Training, Employment & Lifelong Learning (the "EMP"). The estimated value of the Services to be awarded is £310,000 for the duration of the contract 1st September 2025 to 31st May 2027 (2 x Academic years). The anticipated commencement date for the Call-off Contract(s) is 1st September 2025.
