bab25cd3-75d2-4ce1-92d7-3867fbcdce4e-163885Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner and through a learning environment which includes the training of doctors and other healthcare professionals. A Part B procurement process was undertaken with services commencing from 1st October 2016 for a period of 15 years with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years. The Commissioners sort a provider to deliver high quality, patient centred and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner and through a learning environment which includes the training of doctors and other healthcare professionals The Services was required to meet the following needs: i. GP led primary medical care services to patients residing in the Practice Registration Area and Outer Boundary Area, and/ or patients registered with the practice as temporary patients ii. Equity of access iii. Patient Dignity and Respect iv. Informed Consent v. Children and Vulnerable adults vi. Clinical safety and Medical Emergencies vii. Prescribing viii. Good Clinical Practical ix. Equipment x. Infection Control and prevention xi. Referrals xii. Cooperation with other NHS Contracts xiii. Clinical governance and Quality Assurance xiv. Complaints procedures xv. Human Resource Management xvi. Workforce Training and development xvii. Practitioner Skill Mix/Continuity xviii. Risk Management xix. Patient and Contractor records
