8cf9070d-4b82-426e-96ea-2f6bde965724-127144Contractors / bidders are asked to design and produce e-learning content and assets based on selected learning tools and best practice from the circa £2.5m investment in learning and development materials produced for the Care Act in 14/15, for use in a single e-learning package. This content will be hosted nationally on a SCORM compliant Learning Management System (LMS) and also be made available for use on organisations' own systems. The project will make free to use e-learning on the Care Act easily accessible over the long-term for the over 14,000 care provider organisations and 152 local authorities with social care responsibilities and wider delivery partners who are embedding the 15/16 care and support reforms. This requirement should provide structured, engaging and truly interactive learning for social care staff (available irrespective of local platforms), for use as part of a blended approach to learning and skills development."
