b549e10b-b9ff-487d-8470-63ce035fe557-167421The Edinburgh Way Improvement scheme involves the widening of the corridor through Harlow's Edinburgh Way from Cambridge Road to River Way. Attached to the highway elements are traffic signals works (minor) and a retaining wall construction. The main highway works involve the construction of additional lanes to both the east and westbound carriageways. Amendments to the roundabout at Cambridge Road (east) are also required involving more challenging phasing of Traffic Management. The works are all to be complete around statutory undertakers diversionary works - some of which , to the south, require civil works and liaisons to be undertaken by the Contractor. To try and mitigate some of the issues with the stats an Advanced Works Contract to move the stats from the northern footpath before the main contract commences are planned to be completed by July 2017
