This is specialised waste and the management and transfer of this material through the supply chain has high compliance requirements. The Councils Energy from Waste facility does not accept / treat hazardous waste. There is no operational waste transfer station in Buckinghamshire able to transfer these hazardous materials. Buckinghamshire Council is looking for a supplier to provide a safe and compliant disposal point of clinical waste, offensive waste and small animal remains.
