Expert skills in all these areas, not just working knowledge of SCOM or SCSM. Key deliverables of the role: • Win 8.1 Desktop image deployment to Surface Pro 3 (image capture and deploy) using SCCM • Software packaging and deployment using SCCM (Use of Admin Studio for MSI creation) • Examine existing processes for deployment of windows updates using SCCM and implement improvements • Protective monitoring of server infrastructure – alert generation, proactive response using SCOM • Creating workflows for proactive actions in response to alerts • Report generation from SCCM • Creation of a SCOM dashboard available to engineers to show status of the server infrastructure for display onto a SharePoint site. • Creating runbooks to automate actions generated within SCSM • Create dashboard for SCSM status (SLA targets met etc) to display onto a SharePoint site • Document all configurations, modifications and procedures in a clear and concise manner • Knowledge and skills transfer to members of the IT team
