f0246e52-aace-4c21-9f3b-97bbe05028aa-187631Vegetation Removal and Parapet Repairs Works will be carried out under a full road closure. The contractor will be required to work 7 days per week to enable the works to be completed in as little time as possible. Vegetation removal will include: • Clear vegetation as shown on the contract drawing. • Eight trees to be removed as shown on the contract drawing Masonry Repairs will include: • Carefully dismantle dislodged areas of parapets and set aside stones that are to be reused. • Rebuild parapets according to General Arrangement drawings and reset as straight as practicable using a 1:1:6 mortar. • Rake out and repoint all mortar on parapets in the areas shown on the contract drawing and repoint using a 1:1:6 mortar. • One new stone to be provided (coping south parapet) as shown on the Contract drawing Resurfacing will include: • Plane out to 50mm depth, 550m² of HRA on the bridge • 215m² of asphalt reinforcing mesh
