44297a7a-b59d-4ddf-b493-cc3cfc888b8d-909304The Trust has a requirement for the replacement of Electrical Substation 9 and an upgrade to the Evelina standby power system. The objective of the project is to remove the obsolescence risk for the existing LV electrical switch panels, and interlinked stand-by generators to meet the requirements of the existing electrical services. This requirement needs to be delivered to allow for the expansion for the 'Evelina PTC' and the additional power requirements and system resilience that this project demands. This paper recommends the award of a contract to ETA Projects Ltd. The new contract will help provide the Trust with a safe and reliable source of power into the future removing the reliance on hired in temporary generators and the expansion of the Evelina Children's Hospital for cancer treatment. This was awarded through the HTE framework Consultancy Solutions and Advisory Services 2023/S 000-024003
