a10b406c-bbae-4865-8079-e0f984f07628-168470Highways England is looking to set up a contract for provision of a specialist TAME Appraisal Certifying Officer resource. A major function of TAME is to provide technical advice and guidance to teams in the Highways England Major Projects directorate concerning the traffic modelling, traffic forecasting and economic assessment of schemes costing more than £10m. In addition, to providing advice and guidance, members of TAME act as Appraisal Certification Officers (ACOs). ACOs are required to confirm whether or not the traffic modelling, forecasting and economic assessment is of sufficient quality to support decisions about continued investment in a project.
