5939dad4-0ff8-4a4a-abf2-7a1037612ac9-210008The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is legally required to give notice to the general public when exercising certain of its functions by placing notices in a newspaper circulating in the locality. The Council has awarded a contract to provide this service in accordance with the published Service Specification and Conditions of Contract. The Contract will commence on 1 May 2018 and run until 30 April 2020 with provision for a 12 months extension. The actual spend will depend, amongst other things, on the number and size of the notices published. Statutory notices are an important means for ensuring that the public is kept informed of decisions by their council which may affect their quality of life, local amenity or their property. This is especially the case in relation to issues, such as planning applications, where there is a limited period for the public to respond. Additional information: This procurement was executed through the Council's electronic procurement portal, capitalEsourcing.
