3f215499-f89b-47fc-a861-e485abf9bb93-860378The procurement is seeking a new contract to replace the current Interim Public Hosting contract as it has been identified that the solution provided was unable to meet the originally stipulated requirements. During the mobilisation and detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) phase, it became apparent that public cloud was not adequate to address risks, especially the security associated with hosting of the legacy applications. This has meant the need to change from a Public Cloud to a Private Cloud environment to allow for the requirements to be met and enable the exit of the legacy hosting service within the required timeframes. A new contract is required to deliver the Interim Hosting requirements and enable the safe exit of the legacy Vodafone hosting service within the required timeframes. Without the provision of Interim Hosting there is no practical and affordable way that the Vodafone data centre exit can be achieved within the current Hosting contract term.
