7fff2d9f-2b8b-40d3-b523-dc109505ebf6-96261Erewash Borough Council is establishing a framework for the provision of Tree Works (Arboricultural Services), including hedge pruning, stump removal and re-instatement. It also includes the provision of emergency tree works to address situations where for example a tree is at risk of failing or a tree is blocking a road etc. In the event of emergency tree works being required, Contractors MUST be able to attend site within one (1) hour of receiving notification from the Council. In order to be considered for this Contract, Suppliers must hold and maintain for the lifetime of the Contract, membership of the Arboricultural Association Approved Contractors Scheme (ArbAC). The Contract is anticipated to start on 6th October 2016 for an initial period of three years. There is an option to extend the contract for a further 12 month period subject to funding, business need and satisfactory performance. Please note, Contractors wishing to express interest and obtain the tender documentation, must do so by 12pm on 16th June 2016. However, it is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for quotation returns is 12pm on 17th June 2016. This tender has not been split into lots as it was deemed to be most economically advantageous to let as a single contract.
