95c6d497-e0fa-4e53-a003-04abb94bebbe-670841Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, acting on behalf of the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System, has awarded a contract for the provision of Virtual Wards Hardware, Software and Associated Services. The virtual wards service has been developed to support the increasing Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) operational pressures, reducing demand for acute bed capacity across the Norfolk & Waveney system and improving patient flow. The expansion of virtual ward capacity is a key component in the Norfolk & Waveney system plans to address UEC pressures whilst at the same time improving the patient experience and care. The procurement, for the provision of hardware, software and associated services (logistics, data and infection control cleansing) has been made via the Spark DPS platform for an initial two year term with the option to extend by a further one year period - to establish the new service offering.
