850a90ca-6d2b-4eb9-b816-ad109a775230-217178Liverpool City Council (LCC) are looking to procure a solution that will provide a secure facility to back up pre-determined electronic data held by schools and Children's Centres on network servers and nominated devices to a secure remote location. There are currently 135 schools & 9 Children's Centres across the City region who are taking this service from LCC. There is a potential that the number of schools taking this service may increase over the period of the contract, equally there may be a reduction in the number of schools taking the service. The current service is set up to back up the school's management and financial information systems and any key data identified by the schools on a school by school basis. The majority of schools utilise the Capita SIMS system for their MIS and FMS requirements, the tender must demonstrate the facility to back up & restore data held within the Capita SIMS application.
