6a34d5da-a20f-46b4-b1f1-c2a58a38260a-165932Several of the UC Platforms depend upon an Oracle Database. Generally there is a shortage of Oracle skills to support changes to the UC Platforms, in particular there is a requirement to address database stability and performance issues that CAMLite has recently encountered in DXC. The DWP team do not have sufficient Oracle database experience to design and support implementation of changes to the Oracle database with a view to effecting an improvement. The intention is to augment the team with skilled Oracle resource that can design, support implementation of changes and optimise the database as well as transfer skills to members of the team. The specific requirement is for a consultant to: 1. continue on-going engagement around OVM Interconnects and index usage 2. support for database size and data purge optimisation 3. Oracle consultancy for AM Support should any requests fall outside the standard support arrangements
