Organisations signing up to the Responsibility Deal commit to taking action voluntarily to improve public health through their responsibilities as employers, as well as through their commercial actions and community activities. Organisations can sign up to be either national partners or local partners. Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (SBC) are canvassing local businesses to sign up to the Southend Public Health Responsibility Deal and driving this through the pump-prime funding of initiatives supporting Physical Activity: Further information on the National Public Health Responsibility Deal can be found at https://responsibilitydeal.dh.gov.uk/ information on the Southend Public Health Responsibility Deal can be found at www.southend.gov.uk/responsibilitydeal Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is inviting quotation proposals from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to deliver physical activity taster programmes across the borough for organisations who have signed up to the Southend Public Health Responsibility Deal.
