2536fd75-57db-4345-ad1f-7b1ed8683271-97748Asbestos Abatement Works - Owen Building The works will involve the abatement of asbestos in 3Nr plant rooms within the Owen Building, with works being inclusive of asbestos abatement, removal of both electrical and mechanical plant, installations and associated supports, bases and the like, and builders work to make good generally. The full extent of work varies within each section and the full works are itemised within the detailed specifications etc accompanying this document. Some temporary works in maintaining existing systems and particularly fire alarms, BMS etc will be required. Whilst most of the services works are designed, some element of contractor design is required. This will involve temporary and final connection works to specialist systems (fire, BMS, HV installations etc ) and some minor lighting installations. The will form the Contracotr’s Design Portion. The University wishes to appoint a contractor to supply the above works. The Invitation to Tender (ITT) must be downloaded from the University's e-tendering system: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffieldhallamuniversity Our requirement is as detailed within the Employers Requirements document at section 3.7 to 3.13 of the the Invitation to Tender. All tender responses must be submitted in accordance with the instructions as detailed in the Invitation to Tender documents. The documents will then be sent to the `My Tenders` section of the supplier portal. If submitting correspondence you must ensure that you select the correct tender. Correspondence submitted against the wrong tender may not be answered. The University accepts no liability for failure to reply to incorrectly submitted correspondence.
