South Tyneside Council (the client) has 22No. Housing Plus schemes (sheltered accommodation), buildings that are heated through a communal heating system at various locations throughout the Borough of South Tyneside .It is intended to commence the project with a pilot of installations to 2 No .Housing Plus Schemes, following which a review and decision will be made on continuing with the installations on a year by year basis - the subsequent awards will be made on a call-off basis under the framework.
