The hardware and support services are being procured on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester BC and the contract will be signed between CWAC and the supplier. Cheshire East Borough Council will be a beneficiary under the contract. Please note that as from 1 April 2016, CoSocius will cease trading and all ICT staff and ICT services will transfer to Cheshire East Council. During the contract period, the Contractor’s point of contact may change, and the Council’s agent may change from CoSocius Ltd to Cheshire East Council, or the contract may be novated to Cheshire East Council at any time after 1 April 2016. This procurement exercise has been undertaken in order to expand hardware capacity as follows : • Provision additional servers and storage into existing systems, to allow CoSocius to deliver new project requirements for both Councils • Provide additional tape backup solution for both Councils
