TfGM had a need to implement a short term contract (until June 2026) to provide the above service. Establishing a contract for a software VAR contract fits into the TfGM Business Plan Framework as it touches on two of the five objectives directly - Operate and sustain a safe, green customer-centric, integrated transport system and Build an inclusive, high performing organisation with a skilled and engaged workforce. TfGM undertook a competition exercise using CCS Technology Products & Associated Services 2 Framework (RM6098) Lot 3 - Software. The estimated (not guaranteed) spend over this contract term is £2.7 million.
