The local authority does not have the internal resources to provide a culturally appropriate service with the required community links to successfully work with schools in the Orthodox Jewish Community. Consequently, the local authority currently commissions a culturally appropriate service to work with OJC schools to help meet the needs of their pupils and parents at SEN school support stage and with the implementation of EHCPs where appropriate.
