9829ad70-7f20-4ac2-b31f-70b299092b26-135890BEIS is looking for a contractor or contractors to produce Business As Usual (BAU) emissions projections and marginal abatement cost (MAC) curves over the period 2016 to 2050 (A) for all countries and sectors covered by the EU ETS and (B) for key emitting countries and regions which together provide global coverage. The BAU emissions projections and MACCs need to be consistent with BEIS projections of fossil fuel prices and economic growth (in part A) and with the International Energy Agency's (IEA) World Energy Outlook 2016 (in part B) and should be disaggregated by country and by sector. The outputs of the project will be new data, which will be used as inputs into BEIS in-house Carbon Price Model and GLOCAF model, and an accompanying technical report. The contract with the chosen supplier will be for one year with the option to extend to two years by mutual consent.
