f9be032e-55ad-4752-912c-2bf1db2cef91-794452Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) is looking to purchase a generator with a power rating of between 80KVA to 100KVA to mitigate against the disruption caused by a power outage. The depot at Bircholt Road is an important part of Maidstone Borough Council's service responsibility, therefore vital that a level of service is attainable during periods of local or national outages. For that reason, we require a generator that will support the continuity of key services. There are several aspects that need to be considered, including: \r \r • Powering the fuel pump used for the fleet of vehicles still running on diesel \r • Charging the fleet of electric vehicles \r • Charging the electric ground maintenance equipment \r • Maintaining a level of power within the MBC depot office to run the systems needed to support the actions outlined above. \r \r Key Dates & Timeline for Procurement\r \r Tender release: 20th June 2024\r Expression of Interest Deadline: 12:00pm Thursday 11th July 2024\r Deadline for submission of completed tenders: 12:00pm Thursday 18th July 2024\r Evaluation: w/c 22nd July 2024\r Appointment of contractor: w/c 29th July 2024\r \r Tenderers interested in this tender must register and express their interest through the Kent Business Portal (registration is free).
