0ac42578-d407-4eaa-8102-e072bdd3d782-102575The Bicycle Cloud is a high-level installation of bicycles above the Science Museum's Exhibition Road concourse. The display is like a traditional exhibition in that it shows a selection of museum objects from the archive (25 bicycles) yet it is unusual in that the objects are presented in the style of a dynamic artistic installation. The Bicycle Cloud forms part of the Science Museum's Masterplan as it continues to improve the Visitor Experience and make the Collections more accessible. Works are split between the Authority's in-house teams for electrical and object mounting and the selected Provider for fabrication and installation. An indicative Structural design has been carried out with the completion of a Structural Design expected as part of this Tender Return.
