d9ccb886-7c96-4e53-a6d5-4be69907b516-862164The purpose of this contract is to ensure North Northamptonshire Council have provisions in place for its waste collections, street cleansing and associated services which have historically been outsourced. To ensure continuity of the waste and cleansing services, the Council are bringing the operational services in-house and were required to replace half of its fleet. To ensure the Council is able to deliver its statuary service a short term contract is required to Maintain service continuity for residents in the provision of a statutory function and fulfil the Council's decision to have a consolidate waste operations to a single in-house operating model. This contract is for the hire/lease of 17 standard and specialist vehicles up to 44t. The award of this contract was sought utilising a Direct award process using Halton Housing Framework Supply of Vehicles 2025.
